What is Encryption?

Encryption – To convert messages to something incomprehensible by means of a key, so that it can be reconverted only by an authorized recipient holding the matching key.

Cipher – A system in which units of plain text are arbitrarily transposed or substituted according to a predetermined key.

Encryption Keys :-
There are 2 very different concepts about keys
            • one key encrypts and decrypts data (symmetric encryption algorithm)
            • different keys encrypt and decrypt data(asymmetric encryption algorithm)
